Bankruptcy quarantine

At Virtus Law, we handle numerous cases of bankruptcy quarantine – and many cases where we are lawyers for defendant management members from bankrupt companies. In many cases, our client has been acquitted, or the quarantine period has become shorter than the bankruptcy trustee has demanded.

If you have been sued in a bankruptcy quarantine case, you must react quickly to the court, typically within 14 days of receiving the summons – otherwise you run the risk of being declared bankrupt. If you are granted bankruptcy quarantine, you are excluded from participating in the management of a company with limited liability (public limited companies, public limited companies and partner companies) for up to three years.

At Virtus Law, we can assist you in the case and ensure that the relevant information and documents are included in the case and ensure that the case is conducted if it is to be heard in court.

If you choose us to assist you in the case, there is a possibility that a lawyer from our office will be appointed for you in the case. The state will then bear the costs of conducting the case, regardless of whether the case is won or lost. Should you, however, lose the case, the Treasury will be entitled to have both the trustee’s fee and the fee paid to your appointed lawyer and collect this payment from you.
